 Kedutaan Besar Amerika Serikat untuk Republik Indonesia terletak di Jakarta tepat di sebelah selatan Monas di Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan. Bangunan aslinya dirancang oleh arsitek Ceko Antonin Raymond dan Ladislav Rado. Mereka mulai mengerjakan desain pada tahun 1953. Desain awal kedutaan dikritik oleh Sukarno.


 
Development Program Specialist (PRO), FSN-11

Salary starts from IDR 435,414,755 per annum equivalents to FSN Grade 11.

Requirements

Education (5 points): A minimum Bachelor’s Degree in International Development, Business Administration, Public Administration or another relevant subject is required.
Prior Work Experience (25 points): Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in international development or a related field, with experience working on program design and implementation for donor organizations, non-governmental organizations or private sector institutions (in Indonesia) is required.
Language Proficiency (10 points): Level IV English (reading, writing, and speaking). Fluent (Level IV) of Bahasa Indonesia is required.
Job Knowledge (30 points): Superior knowledge of general development principles and approaches, the Indonesian development environment, and the Government of Indonesia’s (GOI) development priorities. In-depth understanding of program design, implementation, financial management, and monitoring and evaluation. Understanding of gender issues and how they influence development. The willingness and ability to quickly gain knowledge of U.S. government operations, rules, regulations, policies, procedures, as set forth in the FAAR, AIDAR and ADS.
Skills and Abilities (30 points): Good judgment and strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must have an ability to interpret Agency policy and guidance and follow procedures accurately. Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and meet deadlines is required. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and to proactively build consensus is required. Must be able to to mentor and train others. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010 is required. Must have skills in working with databases, in document management, electronic clearances and forms (e.g. Microsoft SharePoint and InfoPath).
